Helicopter carrying India’s Chief of Defence Staff crashes

An Indian Air Force helicopter wearing Chief of Defence Staff Gen Vipin C Rawat and a few other senior Defence officers nowadays crashed at Coonoor in Nilgiris district of the southern country of Tamil Nadu, the Indian Air Force said.

An IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter, with CDS Gen Bipin Rawat on board, met with an coincidence today close to Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, the IAF stated in a Twitter publish.
